Our final STEM projects were the Lego Hotel and Pipe Cleaner Towers.
Both activities/challenges required a lot of teamwork and planning. They sure have become excellent engineers!
We tie-dyed shirts with sunset colors to match on field day!
We got to have some reading time with our new book: Mr. Terupt Falls Again.
It is such a good book and I hope the students finish it over the summer!
Field day was a great success of course. We got wet, had fun and spent a lot of time in the sun.
Racing through to the end of the obstacle course.
Bust a move!
Wet relay race!

The hula hoop master
I want to thank all the All-Stars for working so hard this year. They did a great job at knowing when to work and when to play. That is often difficult for Elementary students, but I think they did a fantastic job. Every student made progress and growth in many areas and it was really due to their hard work and perseverance. I can't thank all of their parents enough for supporting them in their path to a great education. I hope you all have a safe, relaxing and fun Summer Break! I will be moving to Arizona in July, but I hope to hear from all of my 5th grade All-Stars as our busy lives move forward. They will always have a special place in my heart.
Love,
Mrs. Carr
